Ms. Ngu Wah Hlaing began in the travel industry in 1999 as office staff, where she learned the ins and outs of Myanmar tours. The tourism bug bit hard, and in 2001, she earned a Tourist Guide license from the Ministry of Hotel and Tourism. She continued to work in the office on the back-end operations, earning a degree from the Yangon Institute of Economics in 2005, and in 2013 decided it was time to become a full-fledged guide.
Ngu has extensive experience traveling throughout Myanmar, with intimate knowledge of Putao, Chin State, the cultural area of Bagan, Mandalay, the Inle Lake area, Mon State, Kayin State and the region near the Thailand border.
"I love traveling and sharing our country and its people and culture. I’m always eager to learn what kind of special experiences my clients are looking for on their adventure. The highlight of being a guide is offering my passion and knowledge to my clients and helping them create the most beautiful memories of Myanmar that they will remember after they return home."
